Chris Wedge, co-founder of Blue Sky Studios, wrote on Instagram Bluesky Studios: “In the 34-years since its foundation, the studio team and our friend Scrat had one goal. To get one thing. Ice Age: Scrat Tales will premiere on March 14, on Disney+. It features six animated episodes that tell the story of Baby Scrat’s journey to become a father. Blue Sky Studios was an animation studio that was established in 1987. It has released films Ice Age (2002-2016), Rio (2011)-2014), The Peanuts Movie (2015) and Ferdinand (2017 )…) which were all part of 20th Century Fox’s acquisition by Disney. The company has only a few small projects with Disney after the April announcement. Netflix will produce Nimona, another Blue Sky Studios movie.
