HOW TO DRAW MANTIS

Welcome to the drawing tutorial. This will show you step-by-step how to draw a mantis. This strange insect was the inspiration for many fantasy monsters, as well as the entire style of kung fu (Praying Mantis).

Step 1
Take the pencils and draw the triangle that will be the mantis’ head. The mantis’ torso can be drawn using elongated geometric figures.

Step 2
Sketch the legs of your mantis using long, geometric figures. Use circles to draw the eyes.

Step 3
Add details to the head, such as antennae or mandibles. As shown in the example, add details to the torso.

Step 4
Circle the drawing and remove any unnecessary lines.

Step 5

Mantis can be described as one and the same. The mantis in the cartoon “Kung Fu Panda”, however, is not different from any other. This insect is quite ugly and has many legs. This drawing lesson will show you how to draw mantis using cartoons or real life.
