Hello, everybody! In this drawing lesson, we will teach you how to draw the knight. Everyone knows that the knight was not only the warrior who fought dragons in the epic of medieval times. Like the warriors of the samurai knights, knights were more than just warriors, but were also members of the nobles. Let’s begin with drawing lessons and discover the art of drawing the knight.

Step 1
Let’s first sketch out the structure of the knight’s skeleton. Draw the outline of the head by using an oval. Below the head, sketch the spine, which is equivalent to two heads in height. Draw the outline of the shoulders. The width of each shoulder is equal to the length of your head. Draw the guidelines for the shoulders. Draw the guidelines for the legs. The height of the legs is the same as the length of the spine.

Step 2
In this stage, we’ll add flesh and blood to our knight. Draw the helmet on the knight’s head. Utilizing a large cylinder, trace the outline of the body. Sketch the arms consisting of two equal cylinders. Draw your hands

. By drawing a straight and long line to draw the spear into the left hand of the knight.

Step 3
Draw the pelvis triangular. With cylinders, draw the legs and draw the knees in a line. Take note that the shin and thigh are roughly the same dimensions. Draw the outline of feet. The principal forms of the knights are prepared.

Step 4
Then, you can work on the fabric. With curved lines, draw the outline of the cape, then make folds on the cape. Wearing the cape over armor. Draw the sword and belt as in our illustration. The silhouette is already drawn of the knight. at the next stage, we will begin adding details.

Step 5
Remove the guidelines from the head. The lines should be circled around the head to make them more clear. Utilizing the lines of facial symmetry, draw the eyes’ openings and the vertical welding. Draw the details of the helmet like in our illustration.

Step 6
Eliminate the lines of the arms and cape. The lines should be circled and made clearer. Create a cord by using two buckles that are placed near the throat. Then, fold the cords into the cape. Make sure that the fabric is in line with the contours of your body. Make the spear.

Step 7
Remove the guidelines from the body. Draw the lines in circles and then add the folds onto the fabric. Draw the cross in the chest’s middle. Make sure your belt is tightening the waist and creating folds in the clothing. Draw a crossing on the right side of your cape however, do not overlook to account for the folds of the fabric. The left hand is drawn, as well as the sword and straps for the sword.

Step 8
Take away the rules from the cape and the lower portion of the coat. By drawing curved lines, trace the folds of fabric onto the garments. Then, underneath the cloth, draw the second layer of clothes.

Step 9
Take away the guidelines from your legs. Mail can be quite close to the feet, therefore, sketch the outline of the muscles of the calf. Draw the straps that run across the legs in our illustration. Draw the tissue using a cross at the tip of a spear. You can also add some folds.

Step 10
The knight is now ready. at this point, we’ll apply shadows and finish details. Utilizing vertical strokes, draw shadows. Start by drawing the darkest regions of shadows. Try to show the circular shape in shape of the helmet. After that, using lighter strokes, mark the transition from shade to areas of light.

Step 11
Continue with the drawing lesson on drawing the knight. By using cross-hatching, create the letters. Make sure that the textures of your mail must match the form that the muscle. After that, use dark strokes to create shadows on the arms.

Step 12
As a final step, apply the shade on the legs. To make the illusion more realistic keep narrow reflex stripes in the form of illumination (the light that falls at the knight from the glowing top of something) to the inside and outside of the leg, in the muscle area of the calf. The particularly thick shade will be scattered through the coat.

Step 13
This is the time to focus on the shadows of the clothing. This may seem like a daunting task but it’s not so. The first step is to locate the source of light. As you can observe, the light source is via the top right. Therefore, we must create shadows in the areas where there is no light falling. To draw the shadows employ a dense hatch.

Step 14
We’ve now reached the last part of the lesson where we draw the knight. By using light hatching, create the shadows that cast shadows, as in our illustration. Be attentive to your drawing, remove the strokes that are not needed, then make the final touches.
