Hello! Today’s drawing lesson is one we chose to give to Superman the famous superhero from the DC Universe. Superman first appeared on the pages of comic books in 1938.
Superman is among the most well-known superheroes alongside Spider-Man. Let’s get started with drawing lessons and discover the art of drawing the classic Superman!
Step 1
Let’s first sketch out the sketch of the skeleton of Superman. This sketch will illustrate the principal proportions, pose and position in the drawing. By drawing an oval, trace the face. The neck should be drawn as well as the spine. The spine’s height is the sum of two head heights. With a horizontal line, draw the shoulder line. Be aware that the shoulders of Superman must be large. Sketch the lines for legs and arms like in our example. The leg’s height is four levels higher than the head’s.
Step 2
Draw lines for facial symmetry. Draw the head with two parallel lines – an asymmetrical vertical line of the face as well as a horizontal line that serves as a guideline that the eyes follow. Be aware that the place where the vertical line is located indicates an inverse of the head to the side. With a cylinder that is short, trace the neck. Draw the torso in pencil, like in the illustration below. Draw the elbows and shoulders using circles. Make the arm, made up of two equal cylindrical shapes.
Step 3
Continue with the drawing lessons about how to draw the classic Superman. This step begins working on the lower body part of Superman. Like in the previous step, we’ll draw the various parts of the body with simple geometric forms. The pelvis is drawn triangular in our illustration. Utilizing cylinders, sketch the leg. Sketch out the knees as well as the feet. The basic shapes are drawn!
Step 4
In this step, we’ll start sketching the face of Superman. Draw the eyes by using the horizontal line we created in the previous step. Utilizing two thick, curving lines, draw the brows over the eyes. Below the eyes draw the nose supported by the line horizontal drawn in the previous step. By using a shorter horizontal line, trace the nose.
Step 5
Draw the face of Superman. The ear is drawn. Its upper part is in line with the eyebrows. The lower edge is in line with the nose’s tip. Draw the hairline. By drawing short lines, and curved lines, draw the hair that has been slicked back. Eliminate the guidelines and draw circles around the lines until they appear smooth and clear. Draw the neck as well as the upper section of your cape. Sketch out the cape like in our illustration.
Step 6
Okay, let’s draw the torsion of Superman. Eliminate the extra lines of the previous steps, and draw the muscular pecs and the iconic logo using the letter S in the middle. Utilizing three lines to draw your abdominal muscles.
Step 7
In this part of the instructional on drawing Superman, we’ll sketch the arm. Remove the guidelines of earlier steps. On top of the circles, draw the massive deltoids that create the outside shape of your shoulder. Below draw the Biceps (the inner part that is the arm’s upper part) and the triceps (outer). Then draw the forearms that taper towards the wrists. Then draw lines, the fists as well as the lines in your suit as we did in our illustration.
Step 8
In this stage, we begin to work on the lower part of Superman. Eliminate the guidelines and unneeded strokes from the legs and pelvis. Mark the lines with a pencil, to smooth them and neat, just like our drawing. Make the muscle lines.
Step 9
This is the last stage of the drawing lesson on drawing Superman. Draw the belt like in our example, and then make some folds on the costume. Utilizing two lines that resemble”M “M” trace the line for the footwear. Mark those lines on the cape employing the guidelines from the earlier steps.
