HOW TO DRAW CHIBI SUB-ZERO

We will continue drawing lessons for characters from Mortal Kombat on Chibi Style. Today, we will teach you the drawing process for Shibi Sub-Zero. In addition, we have just released a tutorial on how to draw Scorpion in the same way. If you’ve always wanted to master drawing in a cartoon style, you’ve got what you want.

Step 1

Draw three different shapes. The three shapes are the torso, head, and neck. The head has to be substantially bigger in comparison to the human body. You’ve probably seen this in other tutorials on drawing the shinobi.

Step 2

In this phase, we’ll sketch the contours of the legs. Chibi”s legs do not have joints. So, it is possible to draw rounded elongated shapes. Take note that the left hand is bent to an acute angle while the right-hand bends at an angle that is right.

Step 3

We draw the shape of our heroes’ clothing. Let’s draw the contours for Sub-Zero’s mask. Sub-Zero mask. In this stage, we draw samurai-style clothes on the body as well as the lines of the graves.

Step 4

From this point in the next step, we’ll sketch out the final design for our Sub-Zero in chibi-style. It is evident that the model has eye-strain, focusing eyes that are puzzled and without pupils, as well as a mask and a hood that has two folds on the fabric.

Step 5

We remove the extra lines of the trunk and the extremities. Draw the contours of the palms. Draw clothing and armor. There are greaves as well as bracers. They are not too important, however, they must be put in the right spot.

Step 6

Include some shadows in our Chibi. Use short, dense hatching. Don’t make the shadows too complex.
