HOW TO DRAW AN ARMCHAIR

Hello, dear artists. We recently decided to tackle the interior details by drawing a chair, and a bathtub. This lesson will continue the topic by showing you how to draw an armchair.

Step 1
As we did in the lesson on the chair, let’s first show that the bottom of our armchair is a cube shape.

Step 2
Keep sketching a general outline. Draw the back of your armchair, which should be slightly wider than the top.

Step 3
Continue with the lesson How to Draw an Armchair. Draw the arms of your armchair using slightly curving lines.

Step 4
Straight lines are used to outline the arms and legs.

Step 5
Circle the lines for the back, arms, and seat of the armchair. The top portions of the drawing should be erased.

Step 6
We now do the same thing with the lower portion of the armchair. Draw out the legs and edges.

Step 7
The last step is to draw rivets and add shadows in order to make the lesson more real.
