One of the most adorable predators on the planet is the arctic fox. Although they may appear cute, these arctic dwelling Foxes are efficient hunters and well-adapted to their environment.
The arctic Fox is most famous for its adorable appearance. Many people would love to draw an arctic Fox.
You will be able to see the entire process by the end of the guide. So make sure you read the whole thing!
This step-by-step guide will show you how to draw an Arctic Fox in 6 easy steps.
We will begin with the head outline and the back outline of an arctic Fox as the first step in our guide.
First, draw the top of your head. Then add two pointed ears to it. Next, draw a line that runs down from the left side of the Fox for the furry chest.
To complete this step, draw a similar line to the back of your fox.
You will add the tail and legs to your arctic-fox drawing in this second section.
You can draw the legs with a similar jagged line as the chest and back, but they will be shorter than the rest of the Fox.
The reference image shows that the back leg will be slightly longer and thicker than its counterpart. Add a furry tail at the back of your fox for the final step.
You’ve already drawn the legs for your arctic Fox drawing. These next two shouldn’t be a problem!
Draw the two other legs on the opposite side of the fox’s body. These legs will be shown in the reference photo.
After you have drawn all four legs, you can move on to the next step.
In the fourth part of our arctic-fox drawing, we will add some details to the ears and faces. Draw some triangular shapes in the ears to create the inner ear.
To create the illusion of fur hanging down, add more jagged lines to the chest of your fox.
To further enhance the appearance of fur, you can add lines to these areas. You can’t add too many fur details to Arctic Foxes, as they are furry!
We have a few details that you can add before adding colors to your arctic-fox drawing. First, arctic Foxes have small eyes so you can add them to this step.
You can then create a straight line for your muzzle and add a tiny nose to the middle.
As you can see, we then added several smaller lines to the fox’s fur, as shown in our reference image.
These can be placed all over the body, near the limbs and you can add your own details to complete the look!
You can add your own twist to this image by drawing a background. For inspiration, you could take a look at the environments these foxes inhabit and draw one for your fox.
Alter the pose of your arctic fox to make it more interesting or add other animals. How can you add details to your arctic-fox drawing?
This is the final step in our guide to drawing an arctic Fox. You can now finish your amazing drawing by adding some color!
