How to Draw a Swallow

In the beginning Don’t push too hard on your pencil. Make smooth, gentle strokes to start

First step: Make a circle to guide the front of the body. The circle does not have been perfect. It’s just a reference. You should leave enough space between the bottom and top in order to accommodate the wings.

Step 2. Make an arc around the right-hand edge of the circle, to wrap the outline of the body of the swallow. The result should be something resembling an egg.

Step 3. Draw a second circle on the left side to serve as a reference for the head of the bird. It should measure approximately 1/3 the size of the first. Its edges must be in contact.

step 4: In the center of the circle you will draw two lines intersecting. These lines will assist you to locate the features of the swallow later.

5. Make a triangle like design across the left-hand side of the head of the swallow as a reference for the beak.
