It is possible to refer to the easy step-by-step drawing instructions below.
As the initial step of this sock drawing tutorial you’ll begin by drawing your sock’s top. To create this pattern we made use of curves to draw the sides and top that make up the bottom.
For the bottom of this section we made use of straight lines that were serrated to make a pointed pattern to form the base.
Christmas stockings are usually placed on the wall or on the mantle which is why they usually have an encasement of fabric to hang them from.
We’ll also include this in this stage and draw it by drawing simple curves over the socks.
Complete this step by drawing an outline for your sock’s opening and then continue to step 2.
Step 2 – Now trace around the edge of the socks
After you’ve completed the top of this sock sketch then we can draw the bulk of the sock.
It’s pretty simple for this step! All you have make is trace a straight line to the top of your socks. The line will extend well outwards, as seen in our image reference.
We’ll then draw another line that is drawn from the back to the bottom of our pantyhose. The line will be straight down, and it won’t have a curve as the first line.
And then you’ll be set to start watching season 3!
Step 3 – Draw the following section of the pantyhose
Following this guide of drawing the neck, we’ll add a second part in the next step. The first step is to draw a curving line that starts from the rear of the sock, for the ankle area.
It will form an elongated, flatter lines for the bottom of the socks.
Then draw a sharp circular shape that is drawn out from front socks. It will appear curly as there is a curly line on the front of the socks.
This curve will be completed at the end of the tutorial. When you’re finished, you can continue!
Step 4 – Then to complete the outline of the stock
The fourth step in the drawing drop will assist you in completing the outline. This step will help you prepare to tackle the details in the following section.
In the previous section of this tutorial, there is an incline in at the top of your tights.
This is a very popular style for Christmas socks. That’s why we chose it to be the subject of this illustration!
You can use circles to draw the design be sure to refer back to the reference image in order to ensure that it looks right.
After we have completed the front portion of the pantyhose, it is now time to proceed to the last specifics in our next segment.
The 5th step is to add the last details to the drop sketch
Before you apply some colour to your drawing We have some last aspects to include to this part of the guide for drawing the design of a pair of tights.
They’ll be focusing on decorative elements and in our style, we’ve created stripes on the hem of our sock.
You could also include designs, patterns or other elements such as bells to your design!
To make Christmas more enjoyable You can also make a background showing the room where the stockings are hung.
Step 6: Finish your drawing using color
You’ve completed the final step of this drawing in-stock, and now it’s your turn to color your masterpiece!
You can choose from a wide range of choices for art media and colors that you can employ for this drawing, which means you’ll have a lot of fun creating your own designs.
