How to Draw a Fairy

This tutorial will teach you how to draw a fairy. A fairy may be something you have seen in cartoons or on the pages of magazines.

A fairy is a fantastic creature. She is small and has amazing abilities. Fairies are generally kind and generous. Our fairy is dressed in a cute little dress with high wings and small legs. This makes her look very delicate. This fairy lives in the land where elves live. The favorite color of fairies is green. That’s why you see this fairy wearing a green dress.

Step 1: Draw the basic outline of the body

First, draw the outline of the fairy’s body. It is important to use small ovals that are long and graceful for this creature. In this instance, the pelvis should be wider than the shoulders, as in all-female figures. These ovals can be placed by following a smooth curve that mirrors the spine.

Step 2: Sketch the Arms & Legs

Any pose can be made for your fairy. The fairy in this example slightly spreads her arms out to her sides and brings her knees together. You can recreate the same pose by drawing the arms and legs in the same way as our sample.

Step 3 – Draw the contours of the Torso

Use rounded, flowing lines to connect the chest and pelvis. These lines should highlight the feminine figure’s gracefulness and smooth expansion following a narrow waist. To indicate symmetry, draw a vertical line on the face and a horizontal one on the eyes.

Step 4: Draw Fairy Hands

Draw the graceful, smooth lines of the hands of our fairy. The hands are equal in length to the forearms due to the cartoon style.

Step 5: Draw Fairy Feet

Draw the outline of our fairy’s legs. These are quite wide contours, which taper towards the joints. … Notice the curvature of your shins.

Step 6: Sketch the eyes and mouth of the Fairy

To draw the outline of your eyes and mouth, use the facial lines. You may notice plump, almond-shaped eyes. The nose is a thin line that looks almost like a hairline.

Step 7: Sketch a Fairy Hairstyle

The outline of your hairstyle should be drawn. You can make any style you want for your fairy. We chose to go with smooth, rounded lines for a classic feminine hairstyle that features fluffy bangs and traditional femininity.

Step 8 – Draw Fairy Clothes

We then sketched out the outline of the head and face of our fairy. Draw the outline of the shoulder and upper parts of this little charmer.

Step 9 – Draw the Outlines for the Arms

The flowing lines of the forearms and shoulders should be drawn. The proximal portion of the forearms should have a minimal extension. Avoid too many contractions or extensions.

Step 10 – Draw Fairy Hands

This is the right time to complete the work with the hands of our character, isn’t it? Draw long, thin fingers. Pay close attention to the size and shape of our sorceress’s fingers. Match the thumb position with the rest of your fingers.

Step 11 – Draw the hips and dress

Draw the outline of the dress and the tops of the legs for our fairytale character. The outline of the dress can be customized to suit your imagination.

Step 12 – Draw Fairy Shoes

For this fairy, choose a shoe shape. Each shoe was painted with large, rounded decorations. You can also add laces or heels to the shoe.

Step 13: Draw Fairy Wings

Fairies are very mobile and fast. The thin elastic wings of these cute creatures allow them to quickly locate themselves in the middle of things. The wing is composed of two parts: a long, elongated, and a short, rounded. The wing contours are very similar to those of butterflies.

Step 14 – Delete the Guidelines

All auxiliary guidelines should be removed from your fairy drawing to make it look more beautiful and complete. To make your fairy drawing more expressive, you can alter the lines.

Step 15 – Color Fairy

Pick the right colors for this beautiful fairy. Choose a color that suits the skin, hair, and clothing of your character. All shades are beautiful but don’t forget about that. Light blue is the best color for wings.
