Step 1
To draw a rectangle, use straight lines but keep them light. Make sure the lines are not too dark so you can easily add fixes in the next steps.
Step 2
Use light lines to separate the clothespin and add a spring. Finally, draw some details. Although this step can be quite difficult if you pay attention you will be able to repeat the clothespin sketch easily.
Step 3

Step 4
The final step in the lesson is to add shadows. In the example below, add shadows. Your clothespin sketch will look more realistic and voluminous if you have a hatched design.
