How To Draw A Cannon Step by Step

Step 1

Begin by drawing a large circle around the wheel. Next, add guides to the center. Next, draw long lines along the sides of the barrel shaft and create a curve to carry the chain. You can now continue.

Step 2

Next, detail the barrel using the same steps as the picture. The tip of the cannon must look like it has holes. You will need to draw a circle around the axle’s center. Then, add another circle around the inner side of the wheel. You will then draw two additional circles to cover the solder portion of the wheel that holds the cannon on the base. Next, draw the top of a wooden handle that pushes the cannon forward.

Step 3

This is the third step. What you see is what your actions will be. The steps seem fairly straightforward, right? Now you need to add the spokes and detail the inner cap. Wooden handles will make it look more like wood.

Step 4

You are now in step 4. Now you can start to detail your center using the design shown here. After you are done, add links to the chain and draw the shape for the wick. It’s really easy, isn’t?

Step 5

This is your final drawing step. Now you need to detail the rest the center cap, and then draw the alignment lines as shown. Next, erase all of the shapes and principles you created in step 1.
