Below is a step-by-step drawing tutorial.
How To Draw A Bush Step by Step
We’ll begin this tutorial with the base of your bed.
These will have two square posts at their ends. You can use a ruler or pencil to ensure that the edges are straight.
To make them appear like they are made from wood, you can add some notches.
Next, we’ll add the wood between the pillars. For the midsection’s base, you can draw a straight line. The top edges of the pillars will be curved.
For a wood effect, you can add a few small notches. You’re now ready to move on to step 2.
Step 2: Now paint texture effects on the foot of your bed
We will add wood texture to your bed’s base for the next step. We will begin by drawing a shape in the center of the foot.
The shape will have straight edges and a foundation, while the top will be curved. This will give it a similar shape to the rest of the bed.
Once the outline has been drawn, we can create the effect of wood boards being nailed together.
Draw horizontal lines very close together and then add small vertical lines.
Before you move on to the next step, make sure you have drawn some dots for the nails that will hold the planks together.
Step 3: Draw the middle of your bed
We have already drawn the base of the bed, so we can now draw the middle.
For the blanket covering the bed, draw curved lines. These will form the outline for the middle.
These lines should be drawn with an elegance and freedom, because it’s meant to look like fabric.
Draw some curves at each end to make the blanket fold on its own.
For a more pleated texture, finish this step by adding wavy lines to the quilt’s border.
Step 4 – Next draw some footboards and pillows
You are now ready to add pillows and a base to your bed by following the next step. Draw a line from the blanket’s base to the end of the quilt. This will be your wooden base.
Next, add a second thin wooden post to the opposite side of your bed. This will be very similar to those you made at the foot.
Finish by adding some soft pillows to the headboard. Next, you can add the final details to the tutorial.
Step 5 – Finish your bed drawing.
Now you are almost ready to add color to your drawing. But first, we need to finalize details and final elements.
Draw a second wooden pole to the left of the headboard. Connect the posts using curved lines. Then add more wooden elements.
Now you can move on to the next step. You can add details to the image before you continue.
You could draw the bedroom around it, or add fancy pillows or plushies to make it more comfortable.
These are just some ideas. What other options do you have to make it end?
Step 6: Finish your bed painting by adding color
You can add color to the last part of your bed-painting. We have shown you how we would color the image in our reference image.
For the blanket, pillow, and mattress, we used red, blue, and purple, and some brown for the wooden side.
These are only a few of the many colors that you have! You can use any color or medium that you feel best fits the image in your own drawing.
What would it take to bring this painting to life using color?
