Step 1
How do we begin this initial step? Begin by drawing a large circle to outline your lotus. Then, begin drawing lines for the petals beginning at the bottom, and working upwards.
Step 2
Then, draw a semicircle around each side of the bloom that will form the leaf or pad where the lotus flower rests. After that, you will begin contouring the lotus or petals of the water lily. The lining should resemble hairs.
Step 3.
As you can see, your lotus is flourishing at this point. What’s the first thing you’ll accomplish in this stage? This is how the design of lotus petals is done as illustrated in the picture below. After you’ve completed drawing each petal, draw the leaf or lily in detail and sketch the inside of the flower with a tiny flame.
Step 4
This is the last drawing stage and you’ll start erasing the shapes and guides you sketched in step 1 to clean and tidy up the drawing. It is the time to draw out and define the remaining petals in the manner shown, and then define the leaf or pad a little more.
Step 5
After your drawing is finished the lotus will look like the one you see here. You are now ready to paint your gorgeous flower dark pink or leave it white.
