How to Carve a Pumpkin
Step 1:
Begin with a simple circle, then draw a guideline for the knife’s face and blade.
Step 2:
After that, draw the stem. It should be uneven and crooked.
Step 3:
You can add details to the stem of your pumpkins like this.
Step 4:
You will now tackle the other side of the pumpkin, by drawing its actual shape and texture. This can be done in layers.
Step 5:
Draw the outline of your butcher knife, then add the lining to the area where the slit is located at the base.
Step 6:
Draw the pumpkin shape on the left. Next, add details to the hole the knife is in.
Step 7:
Next, draw long grass blades that look more like hair.
Step 8:
Next, draw the face. The left side, as I mentioned, is drawn in half or carved out.
Step 9:
Finish the face by adding the texture lines to the pumpkin’s surface.
Step 10:
The last step is to clean up any mistakes or guides and then to add details to the knife’s handle.
Step 11:
Here it is, the half-carved pumpkin face for Halloween. You can color the drawing and share it with your family and friends.
