Below is a step-by-step drawing tutorial.
How to Drawing Eagle (Hunting) Step by Step
Step 1
Our eagle drawing tutorial will begin with the head and beak of your eagle.
To make the neck of an eagle, you can start by drawing a curve. Next, draw some thin curves to create a slightly open beak like the reference image.
Step 2 – Next draw eyes and wings
We will now add wings and eyes to your eagle drawing. The eye is a black circle with a little bit of white.
Make sure to include a line for your nostrils. Next, it’s time to add the first wing. The first wing will be a long, curving line that extends from the neck.
You can then drag it down with more serrations to the feathers.
As you go down, your feathers will become less jagged and sharper, and they will look more like goosebumps near the ends of your wings.
Step 3: Now draw the body for the eagle
An eagle is much more than a head and wings. In this step of our how-to draw eagle tutorial, we will focus on the body of your eagle.
Begin by drawing a curve down from the beak of the eagle. These will result in straight lines that will form the top of your leg, as shown in the reference image.
Once you are happy with the work, we can move onto the next step.
Step 4: Draw a tail, another wing and a head for your eagle
We have drawn the first wing of your eagle drawing. Now we will draw another.
The wing will be located on the opposite side of your body. It will be smaller in order to give perspective. It will look very similar to the wing that you made earlier.
Once that stroke is in place, you can create a long tail by connecting two lines with a bumpy line to suggest feathers.
Step 5 – Give your Eagle some claws
One of the most famous things about Eagles is their hunting skills. Their sharp claws are used to catch prey before they even know what’s happening!
We’ll draw claws for your eagle in this step of our eagle drawing tutorial.
As you can see from our reference image they will be thin at the legs, then become sharp, curved lines at the ends of the claws. Your eagle drawing will be complete once you have finished the nails.
Step 6: Draw feather details for your Eagle
Now you are ready to begin the coloring phase of your eagle-painting. This step will involve adding more lines. Although it may look daunting in the reference photo, it is actually quite simple.
Even if the details are not too complex, they can make a big difference to an image. To give depth to the feathers, we focus on their details.
To create feather detail, you can use several sharp curves in one row. Then extend the lines outward from the ends.
You can also add any detail you want to your eagle drawing. While we concentrated most of our attention on the tail and body of the eagle, you can add any details that you feel are necessary.
Step 7: Finish your Eagle Painting with some Colors
Now comes the fun part: coloring your beautiful drawing!
This step is where you can let your imagination run wild. You can use your favorite colors or art mediums to finish it.
There are many types of Eagles, which means that they can come in many colors. There are many choices if you want to keep your color palette consistent, but don’t feel restricted by it!
You can also make an eagle out of bright colors.
What artistic medium will be used to achieve your chosen color? Are you going to paint with acrylics or watercolors, or will you use crayons and pencils to make it more detailed?
We have many more options and can’t wait for you to choose!
These are just a few more tips to help draw an eagle quickly!
We show you how to draw the eagle so that you can fly smoothly.
Eagles are majestic and beautiful creatures. It can be difficult to draw them. It is important to draw the right elements, such as their feathers, wings, and claws.
These are the same things we have already shown you in our tutorial. However, it is still possible to make it more simple by using reference images.
