Drawing Freddie Mercury, Bohemian Rhapsody

Drawing Freddie Mercury, Bohemian Rhapsody

Step 1:

Freddie is drawn from a side or 3/4 view. Begin by drawing the guide shape for the head. Next, sketch the neck guides and shoulder guideline. Finally, draw the guides for mic and arm.

Step 2:

This is where you’ll start to draw Freddie’s face in a profile view. Begin by drawing the lining of the forehead. Next, draw the profile of Freddie’s face, which includes the nose, open mouth structure and some of its jawline. You can also add a silhouette for the mustache.

Step 3:

As the title suggests, you’ll start by drawing the hairline of Freddie’s shorter hairstyle. After that, you can begin to draw the shape of Freddie’s neck and his ear.

Step  4:

After you have completed drawing Freddie’s head, sketch in the inner ear details. After that, you can draw the lining of the nostrils and the outline of your lips (from the outside).

Step 5:

You can now get to work and begin drawing the facial features. Start with the shape of his eyes, eyebrows, or eyebrows, then move on to the cheek bump. Once you have completed the facial features, then you can draw his mustache and teeth. Freddy was known for having a large overbite. Make sure the upper front teeth are visible.

Step 6:

Now let’s draw his arm and hand. You may not be able to see the mic in his hand, but it is there. This step is not as easy as it sounds.

Step 7:

You are nearly done, as I already said. Now, draw the shirt that forms the torso. Next draw the shoulder portion of the arm that isn’t covered by the shirt. After you have finished adding wrinkles, creases and folds to your clothing, you can add neck details.

Step 8:

Quickly draw the left shoulder or shit, then some of your left arm.

Step 9:

We will draw in Freddie Mercury’s microphone, add details to the mic, then draw the mic stand. Once you’re satisfied with your art, erase all guides and mistakes.

Step 10

This is all there is to the story. You can now color in this rock and roll legend.
